Hello!! Today I wanted to share with you some of my most recent beauty purchases. Like most of you ladies I have a weakness for makeup, skincare and all of those necessary goods. I'll be honest, while I enjoy reading the latest DIY skincare tips on Cosmo, I am not going to spend an hour mixing up an avocado facemask, I'm sure it works wonders, I'm just too lazy. Thinking about it I did try a brown sugar scrub once, it's really good.
Aside from my brisk scrub venture, I usually turn to off the rack products to add to my daily routine. Face wash, moisturizer, I think you just have to experiment with different brands and products until you find what works on you. I got a body wash and body balm from the Victoria's Secret Perfect Body Collection and the first thing I thought when I saw them was...GREAT packaging. Their plan worked...I bought them. It was worth it though; they smell ah-mazing and leave your skin really smooth, the body lotion (not pictured here) is also really good.
I had a lot of expectations for the Sephora Moisture Serum and was a bit disappointed. It does moisturize, I'm just really into INTENSE moisturizing because my skin is a bit dry, so it didn't completely do it for me. Now for a long time I've been waiting to buy a skin tone corrector and I got this Ole Henriksen one, also at Sephora, to try it out. I've been applying it nightly before I go to bed, but only for a few days, so I guess I'll have to wait a little longer before I see results with this one. Another thing I've been really wanting to try are BB creams and tinted moisturizers, to have a more lightweight option other that foundation. So on a recent trip to wal-mart I saw the Flower cosmetic line, a new beauty brand by Drew Barrymore that claims to have quality cosmetics that don't hurt your wallet. I thought the overall design of their makeup packaging was really good also; it somehow reminded me of Tom Ford cosmetics with the small gold plating. Any way I ended up buying the tinted moisturizer. Still have to try it out and really hoping to purchase a BB cream next.

Hola! El día de hoy quería compartir con
ustedes algunas de mis más recientes compras de cosméticos. Como la mayoría de
ustedes me encanta el maquillaje y los productos de belleza. Les seré honesta,
mientras me encanta leer los últimos tips de belleza en Cosmo, no voy a invertir
una hora mezclando una mascarilla de aguacate, probablemente sus beneficios sean
increíbles, simplemente me da demasiada flojera. Pensándolo bien una vez hice
un exfoliante corporal con azúcar morena, me quedo muy bien.
Fuera de esa pequeña aventura con el
exfoliante casero, por lo regular busco productos que puedo encontrar fácilmente
en cualquier tienda para agregarlos a mi rutina diaria. Limpiadores faciales,
cremas humectantes, lo que sea que busques, pienso que uno debe de experimentar
con diferentes marcas y productos hasta encontrar lo que funciona con cada una.
Compre éste jabón liquido y humectante corporal de la colección Perfect Body de
Victoria’s Secret, y lo primero que pensé cuando los vi fue…INCREÍBLE diseño de
empaque. Su plan funcionó…los compre. La verdad valió la pena, huelen muy bien
y te dejan la piel de lo más suave, la crema corporal (que no muestro aquí) también
es muy buena.
Tenía muchas expectativas para el Sérum de Hidratación
de Sephora y quede un poco decepcionada. Sí sientes que humecta, pero yo busco más
bien una hidratación INTENSA, ya que tengo la piel un poco seca, así que no
quedé totalmente satisfecha.
Por mucho tiempo estuve buscando un
corrector de tono facial y compre este de Ole Henriksen, en Sephora para
probarlo. Lo he estado aplicando todas las noches antes de irme a la cama pero
solamente llevo unos cuantos días, entonces supongo que tendré que esperar un
poco más para empezar a ver resultados.
Otro producto que moría por probar son las
cremas BB y los humectantes con tinte, para tener una opción más ligera que la
base de maquillaje. Así que en una visita reciente a wal-mart vi la nueva línea
de cosméticos Flower; una nueva marca de belleza de Drew Barrymore que ofrece cosméticos
de calidad sin tener una fuerte repercusión en tu cartera. Me gustó mucho el diseño
general de todos sus productos, no sé, de alguna forma me recordó a los cosméticos
de Tom Ford por la pequeña placa dorada. En fin, finalmente me decidí por un
humectante con tinte, que aun no pruebo, pero si me gusta probablemente regrese
por la crema BB.

Cosméticos favoritos marca elf ♡, exfoliante para boca super recomendado, el brillo color rosa con protector solar muy bueno también, uso make up marca NYC, ya que el make up BB (no recuerdo la marca) no me gusto :/, no me tapa mis ojeras :( . Acerca de cremas para humectar la cara o cuerpo soy malísima para usar esas cosas :/, la unica que uso y se me olvida ponerme a veces es nivea del envase azul y la uso para no tener seca la cara. ReplyDeleteHola Mariel :) Fijate que cuando iba a comprar el tinted moisturizer de Flower estaba entre ese o uno de ELF, y la verdad nunca he usado esa marca pero ahora que me dices voy a comprar algo para probarlo. Y sii a mi tampoco me tapo mucho ese. Gracias por comentar <3
