NEON STRIPES

We were driving around the city when we found this great little spot and decided to stop by, I take a few steps and see this huge black staircase at the end of the central plaza...AH-mazing. The fact that it was during the weekend and basically deserted added to the air of mystery and grandeur. The very traditional and colonial feel of the place served for complete opposition to the style of the outfit... I guess opposites really do attract.

Estábamos manejando por la ciudad cuando encontramos este maravilloso lugarcito y decidimos parar. Unos pasos adentro del lugar y veo unas increíbles escaleras negras justo al final de la plaza central...me encanto. El hecho que era fin de semana y la plaza estaba básicamente desierta, añadía una sensación de misterio y grandeza. El aire tradicional y colonial del lugar sirvió para crear un completo contraste con el look...supongo que los opuestos sí se atraen.

FESTIVAL INSPIRATION

 

Coachella is going on right now and I'm, of course, dreaming that I could be there. Of course we all know Coachella is synonymous with fabulous boho style and has even provided us with unofficial festival looks...need I mention flower crowns? So in honor of that, here are some festival inspired outfits for the weekend. Who knows, maybe it can serve as inspiration for those of you attending weekend two. Happy Saturday everyone!

Este fin de semana es Coachella y claro, yo soñando que pudiera estar ahí. Creo que todos sabemos que Coachella se ha convertido en sinónimo de estilo boho y hasta nos ha brindado el no-oficial "look de festival"...necesito mencionarles las coronas de flores? Así que en honor a eso, aquí hay algunos atuendos inspirados en el festival y perfectos para el fin de semana. Quién sabe, puede ser que hasta les sirva de inspiración a alguna de ustedes que tengan pensado ir al segundo fin de semana. Feliz sábado a todos!

CRISP WHITE

The heat we've been feeling lately really has me yearning for cooler days, and I'll take anything that reminds me of more refreshing places. So I wanted to share with you guys this small assortment of images I came across and was immediately drawn to. I love the overall scheme of crisp white in each photograph, so fresh and clean.

El calor que hemos estado sintiendo últimamente me tiene deseando días mas frescos y cualquier cosa alusiva a espacios refrescantes. Así que en cuanto encontré estas imágenes, inmediatamente captaron mi interés, y quise compartirlas con ustedes. Me encanta el esquema en blanco total de cada fotografía, súper fresco y calmante.
